A little about the tour:
The home of 'The Edinburgh Malt' is located 23 miles from Edinburgh situated in East Lothian. Come and experience a Taste of Scotland.
Your visit begins with an excellent exhibition which is situated on the Old Malting Floors. You will then be met by your guide and taken out on tour round the production area of the distillery where you will learn how to make the water of life. To finish your tour you are welcomed into the bar for a dram of Glenkinchie 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky.

Famous Grouse
A little about the tour:
Sitting
just outside the town of Crieff is the oldest working
distillery and the most visited distillery in Scotland.
The famous grouse experience has got to be one of the
best whiskey distillery tours in the world. You can
experience the taste and smell plus a state of the art
interactive tour. The distillery also has a wonderful
restaurant where you can enjoy a wide range on the menu
including some dishes that feature the finest scotch
whiskey in its ingredients.
If you prefer more than just a distillery tour why
not combine your distillery tour with sightseeing or
guided tour of the surrounding country side.
There is a lot on offer for everyone including things
to keep the kids happy with a visit to the Auchingarrich

just 8 miles from Crieff set in 100 acres of beautiful
Perthshire hills.
21 miles from Crieff is one of Scotland's most treasured
monuments - The Wallace Monument www.nationalwallacemonument.com.
The monument was completed in 1869, and is 220 feet
high. It was from this site in 1297 that William Brave
heart Wallace watched the English army approach Stirling
Bridge, before he led the Scots into battle and victory.
From the top of the Monument you can see some magnificent
views of Stirling and beyond.

Doune Castle 19 miles from Crieff is a magnificent late
14th century castle with a dramatic look. The Castle
was famously used as the setting for Monty Python's
Holy Grail.

Distillery opening times:
Monday to Sunday - 10am to 6pm. Last tour 4.30pm.
Open 363 days of the year - the distillery closes on
the 25th and 26th December.
