A little about the tour:
With stunning views and magnificent architecture, Edinburgh is arguably one of the world’s greatest cities. It’s no wonder that Edinburgh’s Old and New Towns have been designated a World Heritage Site.
We will take you on a sightseeing tour around our beautiful city taking in the sights from Edinburgh Castle down the famous Royal Mile to Holyrood House and beyond.
The picture on the Left is Circus Lane located in the Newtown Edinburgh. The street has been voted the UK’s most beautiful.
Edinburgh Castle is stunning! It sits 260ft above the city on volcanic rock, and is visible for tens of miles in every direction.
Along The Royal Mile lies St Giles’ Cathedral. For nearly a thousand years St Giles’ has been at the centre of Edinburgh’s history, and many important moments in history have involved this lovely Cathedral.
If you would like us to provide a more in depth tour we can supply a guided tour. Please note guided tours are not supplied by the driver it would be a guide who would sit along side passengers.
At the end of The Royal Mile is the new Scottish Parliament building. Love it or hate it, it is certainly somewhere you will want to see.
Nestled at the bottom of the Royal Mile, The Palace of Holyrood House, today the official Scottish residence of Britain’s Royal Family, was built as a guest house for royal visitors. The Palace and the Abbey have survived numerous fires, repairs and restorations.
Driving around our magnificent city you will see an impressive amount of beautiful buildings, monuments, streets and visitor attractions. This is truly a tour not to be missed for anyone visiting this magnificent city.
